 Kodak, the large film company based out of Rochester, New York, just had a racial discrimination suit settled for the princely sum of $21.4 million. The suit was filed on behalf of black employees who argued that their white co-workers were being favoured for higher pay and more promotions. The legal battle took nearly seven years, and roughly 3,000 current and past workers were given amounts ranging from $1,000 to $50,000.

He has not dropped an album in over a decade but legendary beat maker Dr Dre continues to co-sign high priced gizmos. Today, HP and Beats by Dr. Dre, unveiled the HP ENVY 14 Beats Edition, a laptop that was built for music. Designed by HP and Dre, the Envy 14 is the second Beats Edition laptop to emerge from the close collaboration between HP and Beats by Dr. Dre co-founders, legendary artist and producer Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M Records. The first edition Beats laptop was unveiled last October.
